Fatboy slim - weapon of choice (catch him in Cape Town and Joburg)
The world famous (5 grammy nominee) DJ Fatboy Slim will be flying into Cape Town on Tue December 4th to visit a charity football project (called Coaching for Hope) before his gigs in Cape Town and Joburg.
Coaching for Hope, in collaboration with Sports Coaches Outreach (SCORE) and Marsh Memorial Children's Home will be launching their new programme in South Africa. Coaches from Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and QPR FC will be flying to Cape Town with the England's women's team coach Hope Powell to help run a training course for 40 coaches from across the Western and Eastern Cape, the Cape Flats and Zambia.
Working with local charity SCORE, Coaching for Hope will build the capacity of participants to deliver quality football coaching to youths they are already working with and to use football as a tool to deliver social messages about key issues, including life skills and HIV/Aids.
